韓国完成車大手の現代自動車と系列の起亜は14日、2024年の環境対応車輸出台数が前年比３％増の70万7,853台に上り、過去最多を記録したと発表した。同社の輸出全体に占める環境対応車の割合は15ポイント上昇の32％となった。
とりわけ、ハイブリッド車（ＨＶ）が44.6％増の39万7,200台とけん引し、全体の56.1％を占めた。モデル別では、現代自のスポーツタイプ多目的車（ＳＵＶ）「ツーソン」のＨＶモデルが９万3,547台で最多だった。このほか現代自のＳＵＶ「コナ」や起亜のＳＵＶ「ニロ」のＨＶモデルも輸出が好調だった。
電気自動車（ＥＶ）では現代自の「アイオニック５」が６万8,227台で最も多かった。
■輸出先は北米が55.6％占める
現代自・起亜の内燃機関車を含む全体の輸出台数は218万698台で、輸出額は533億6,000万米ドル（約８兆4,100億円）だった。輸出先は北米が55.6％で最も多く、欧州が18.7％で続いた。アジア・太平洋と中東・アフリカは、それぞれ9.1％だった。
