関西ペイントのインド子会社カンサイ・ネロラック・ペインツ（ＫＮＰＬ）はこのほど、プラビン・チャウダリ氏を新たに社長に任命したと発表した。
チャウダリ氏は、株主の承認を条件に、４月１日から３年間の任期で社長に任命された。前任のアヌジ・ジャイン氏は３月31日付でＫＮＰＬを早期退職した。
10日付のＰＴＩ通信によると、チャウダリ氏は10日付で社長に就任し、西部ムンバイにあるＫＮＰＬの本社に勤務する。同氏は1993年にＫＮＰＬに入社し、インダストリアルセールス・オペレーションズ担当やサプライチェーン担当のディレクターなどを歴任した。ＫＮＰＬの社長に就任する前は、関西ペイントの執行役員だった。
