フィリピン中央銀行は17日発表した金融政策に関する最新報告書で、マニラ首都圏にあるニノイ・アキノ国際空港（ＮＡＩＡ）の使用料の大幅な引き上げがインフレ要因になるとの見方を示した。
ニノイ・アキノ国際空港では９月から、乗客が負担する旅客サービス使用料が国内線で200ペソ（約522円）から500ペソに、国際線で550ペソから950ペソにそれぞれ引き上げられる見通し。
これにより、中銀は空の旅の費用が膨らみ、短期的に運輸部門のインフレ圧力が増大すると指摘した。ただ、航空運賃が消費者物価指数（ＣＰＩ）に占める割合は低いため、インフレ率に及ぼす影響は「最小限」にとどまると説明している。
