パナソニックホールディングスのグループ会社で、樹脂成形材料などを手がける松下電子材料（上海）（パナソニックデバイスマテリアル上海）は、上海市奉賢区の既存工場を拡張する。投資額は１億2,000万元（約25億円）。半導体封止材料を増産し、年間販売量を足元の２倍にする目標を掲げた。
拡張部分の延べ床面積は約１万平方メートル。今年７月に着工し、2027年以降に稼働する予定だ。モールドアンダーフィル対応半導体封止材（ＭＵＦ材料）の生産を強化し、国内需要に対応する。
松下電子材料（上海）は2001年の設立で、車載電装部品向けの材料などを生産。ＭＵＦ材料は18年から生産を開始した。
