香港政府統計処は17日、インターネットで注文された料理や荷物の配達員として働く人に関する実態調査の結果を公表した。2024年の平均月収が「5,000HKドル（約９万6,000円）以下」と答えた配達員の割合が34.9％に上った。
配達員１万2,900人を対象に調査を行った。平均月収が「１万5,000HKドル以上」と答えたのは37.1％。配達員を主な収入源としている人は64.7％だった。
年齢は「15～39歳」が過半数を占め、「50歳以上」はおよそ２割にとどまった。１週間当たりの稼働時間は「25時間以下」が28.3％、「44時間以上」が24.9％などとなった。
配達手段で最も多かったのは「自転車」（29.1％）で、「徒歩」（26.5％）、「自動二輪車」（22.7％）、「自動車（バン）」（21.6％）が続いた。
