台湾の中央銀行が６日発表した2024年12月末時点の外貨準備高は5,766億7,700万米ドル（約90兆9,600億円）で、前月末から12億9,700万米ドル減った。減少は２カ月ぶり。
中央銀行は12月の減少要因として、投資運用益と主要通貨の対米ドルレートの変動に加え、為替市場の秩序維持を目的に市場介入を行ったことを挙げた。
12月末時点で外資が保有する台湾の株式と債券の合計額は米ドル換算で8,369億ドルで、前月末から344億ドル増えた。外貨準備高に対する割合は145％で、前月末から６ポイント拡大した。
