タイ工業連盟（ＦＴＩ）が23日に発表した2025年８月のバッテリー式電気自動車（ＢＥＶ）の新規登録台数は、前年同月比49％増の9,903台だった。
車種別に見ると、大半を占める乗用車が53％増の9,782台、バスが46％増の19台だった。一方、ピックアップは61％減の90台、トラックは72％減の12台に沈んだ。
電動バイクの新規登録数は24％減の1,582台だった。
ＢＥＶの累計登録台数は、８月末時点で69％増の24万1,192台。このうち、乗用車は70％増の23万5,979台だった。
ハイブリッド車（ＨＶ）の累計登録台数は29％増の55万3,004台、プラグインハイブリッド車（ＰＨＶ）は27％増の７万6,720台だった。
