香港国際空港を本拠とする新興航空会社の大湾区航空（グレーターベイ・エアラインズ）は９日、香港と福岡を結ぶ便を2025年12月18日～26年１月４日の期間限定で運航すると発表した。
クリスマスと年末年始の旅行需要の高まりに対応する狙い。期間中は１日１往復を運航する。
日・月・火曜日は午前８時45分（現地時間、以下同）に香港発、午後１時に福岡着、水・金・土曜日は午前８時35分に香港発、午後０時55分に福岡着、木曜日は午前８時25分に香港発、午後０時30分に福岡着となる。
日本からは日・月・水・金・土曜日が午後２時に福岡発、同５時15分に香港着、火曜日が午後３時に福岡発、同６時25分に香港着、木曜日が午後１時20分に福岡発、同４時50分に香港着を予定している。
