国際通貨基金（ＩＭＦ）は14日に発表した世界経済見通しで、タイの2025年の実質国内総生産（ＧＤＰ）成長率が2.0％になるとの予測を示した。前回の７月発表の予測を据え置いた。
タイの成長率予測は、東南アジア諸国連合（ＡＳＥＡＮ）で最低水準だった。ＡＳＥＡＮ主要５カ国（タイ、インドネシア、フィリピン、マレーシア、シンガポール）の25年の見通しは4.2％と、前回予測の4.1％から上方修正した。
26年のタイの成長率は1.6％と予測した。前回予測の1.7％から下方修正した。
ＩＭＦは、トランプ米政権の関税政策について、各国に課した関税率はピークからは下がったものの、依然として世界経済に不確実性をもたらしていると指摘した。
