ホンダは２日、湖北省武漢市にある自動車工場３カ所のうち、稼働停止が続いていた１カ所を再開させたと明らかにした。新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大で工場周辺が封鎖され停止していたが、これにより３カ所全てが操業を再開した。
停止していたのはホンダと中国自動車大手の東風汽車集団との合弁、東風本田汽車（東風ホンダ）の第３工場で、11月28日から従業員が出社できなくなっていた。他の２工場は11月30日に再開していた。
ホンダは芝刈り機や汎用（はんよう）エンジンなどを生産する重慶市の工場も先月10日から今月２日まで稼働を停止していた。
