インドのタタ・モーターズと韓国・起亜の子会社キア・インディアは９日、車両の販売価格を１月から上げると発表した。
タタは、電気自動車（ＥＶ）を含む乗用車の価格を最大３％上げる。価格を引き上げることで、コスト上昇やインフレの影響を緩和する。上げ幅は、車種やグレードにより異なる。
キアも、全車種の価格を２％上げる。原材料費の上昇やサプライチェーン（供給網）関連のコスト増、為替変動を機に、値上げを決めた。
スズキの子会社マルチ・スズキや韓国・現代自動車の子会社ヒュンダイ・モーター・インディア（ＨＭＩＬ）も、１月から値上げすると既に発表している。
