中国で「新エネルギー車（ＮＥＶ）」の普及が急激に進む中、修理人員の不足が顕在化している。人材不足のあおりを受け、ＮＥＶ修理工の月給が内燃機関車（ＩＣＥＶ）の修理工に比べ２倍以上となっている地域もあるようだ。中国新聞網が伝えた。
2024年末時点の国内のＮＥＶ保有台数は3,140万台で、24年にＮＥＶを修理した人の数は前年比2.1倍の270万人に拡大。一方、修理工の数は10万人に満たないという。
ＮＥＶ修理工の月給は8,000～１万5,000元（約17万～31万円）で、ＩＣＥＶの5,000～１万元から目立って高い状態。沿海部大都市の１級都市の一部では２万元に到達しているという。
販売の拡大に伴いＮＥＶ修理工の需要は今後も高まり、人材確保に向けた業界内の競争も一層過熱するとみられている。
