香港政府観光局（ＨＫＴＢ）は15日、香港を７月に訪れた旅客の数（速報値）が前年同月比12％増の延べ439万514人だったと発表した。全体の80％を占めた中国本土からの旅客は12％増の351万343人。本土以外からの旅客は13％増の88万171人だった。
１～７月の累計は全体で前年同期比12％増の2,802万6,614人。うち本土からは10％増の2,130万4,097人で、全体に占める割合は76％だった。本土以外からの旅客は16％増の672万2,517人だった。
７月の本土以外の国・地域を見ると、近距離は日本、台湾、遠距離では英国、米国、オーストラリア、フランス、ドイツなどからの伸びが目立った。
