外食チェーン大手のペッパーフードサービスは12日、フィリピンのマニラ首都圏モンテンルパ市の商業施設「アラバン・タウンセンター」で、ステーキ店チェーン「いきなり！ステーキ」の同国５号店を開業したと発表した。
地場イージー・フード・レストランによるフランチャイズ経営となる。
いきなり！ステーキは2022年、首都圏パサイ市の大型商業施設「ＳＭモール・オブ・アジア（ＭＯＡ）」にフィリピン１号店を出店。直近では７月に首都圏マカティ市で初の路面店を開業した。
フィリピン以外ではインドネシアに５店舗、台湾に２店舗を海外展開する。「今後もアジア圏を中心に積極的に海外への展開に取り組む」としている。
