フィリピン労働雇用省傘下の国家賃金生産性委員会（ＮＷＰＣ）は22日、東部ビサヤ地域の最低賃金を２段階に分けて計35ペソ（約93円）引き上げると発表した。第１段階は12月８日に17ペソ、第２段階は来年６月１日に18ペソの引き上げをそれぞれ実施する。
従業員10人以上の法人で働く労働者の賃金は現行の１日435ペソから470ペソに、それ以外の法人に勤める労働者と農業労働者は現行の405ペソから440ペソに引き上げる。
家事労働者の最低賃金は地域により現行の月額5,500～6,000ペソから5,800～6,400ペソに引き上げられる。
